24hours in Brighton to celebrate Wank Dog’s birthday involved lots of gin, a beautiful waning moon and a team love pile on down on the beach. Saw this wonderful piece on a wall near the lanes on Sunday morning.

playing with mirrors is dangerous, i cut my hand so badly pulling them apart for this project, silly lady!
dusty love on a pirate ship
one of my favourite creations at burning man, this sunken ship was so incredibly detailed. every room was furnished and decorated exactly as if it had been left by its’ captain and crew to rot in the desert. every wall was covered, every draw filled, even the captain’s logbooks were full from start to finish with entries. what a labour of love!
doll hand at the tim walker exhibition. i was completely blown away by the beautiful collection, was such a rare insight into walker’s amazing fantasies, with props and interviews alongside his incredible photos.
sunrise at the robot heart
sailed out into the desert on wednesday night on the janky barge, we hit deep playa and i realised the sun was about to come up. i wanted to find the robot heart, and i could tell i was close! i walked for a long time as the sky slowly lightened. i heard the bassline first, then i saw it, standing alone, a big red heart atop the enormous speaker stack, surrounded by people dancing and enjoying the music. i joined the crowd, loving life, dancing and drinking with new found friends to the sultry sounds of jamie jones as the sun rose over the desert! amazing!

dead butterfly and gold leaf
a little bit of my insect collection and the gold leaf i’m currently using in a project. i was wondering if it would be possible to gild a dead butterfly, but i think it might be too fragile.
